Mathnasium of Eastlake opened at Village Walk at EastLake in 2008. Since then, it has worked with over 2,000 local students to help them improve their math skills and gain a better appreciation for math. Mathnasium of Eastlake generally starts by having the student take an assessment in order to identify any holes or gaps in a student’s math foundation, which is nearly always the true root of the problem. From there, a custom lesson plan is created for each child. Then the fun begins. As Mathnasium of Eastlake works with the student to fill in those gaps, something remarkable begins to happen. The students actually begin to enjoy coming in for help, making friends with staff and other students, doing their math homework, and see math as the fun subject that it is.
